OCCUPATIONAL DRIVERS LICENSE

OCCUPATIONAL DRIVERS LICENSE

Is your license suspended? Do you want to drive legally to avoid the hassle, expense, and embarrassment of possible arrest? You may be eligible for an Occupation Driver License.

An Occupational Driver License is a valid Texas Driver License issued to persons whose license has been suspended or revoked. Driver License suspensions occur for many different reasons, including but not limited to the following: too many traffic ticket points on the driving record (aka habitual violator), or a conviction for the offenses of No Insurance or No Driver License.

An Occupational Driver License permits the operation of a non-commercial motor vehicle for limited purposes, such as driving to and from a person’s place of employment, for educational purposes, and for the performance of essential household duties (i.e. taking your kids to school).

The procedure for obtaining an Occupational Driver License can be complicated and time consuming. Each situation is unique, so please allow our knowledgeable attorney and well-trained staff to help you.
